There were smiles all round after our Sydney 3rd prevailed over Gordon 3rd.
With the bat, we made 3/168; Gordon 3rd made 10/118 and 6/242. Aditya Thakare's 86 off 114 balls was a half-century to remember. Rajeev Navaratnam brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 62 off 81 balls.
Ethan Mear bowled superbly to finish with four for 34. Oscar Kirk also took three for 31. Cooper Pullen made a good 69 for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century. Shreyan Deshpande passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 68 not out.
A well-deserved win for the side. That's back-to-back wins for the team. A superb effort from the group.
