It was a tough day out for our Sydney 3rd, who were second best against Manly Warringah 3rd on a day that didn't go our way.
Manly Warringah 3rd made 8/238, and we made 237. Daniel Craig made a terrific 63, a well-made fifty. Jackson Purchase chipped in with 35. The visitors' best with the ball was Nathan Pryke (four for 38). Our opponents also got three for 42 from Liam Dinan.
Ethan Mear finished with five for 64, a five-wicket haul to savour. Oscar Kirk offered good support with two for 39. Dinan was the top scorer for the visitors with 43.
There were some stylish individual efforts to build on. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. Chins up, everyone.
