It wasn't to be for our Sydney 4th, who were undone by Blacktown 4th on a frustrating day.
Blacktown 4th batted first and made 6/217 from 50 overs. Our opponents' Shehzad JHAND made a classy 102 not out. Jasper Scott returned figures of three for 37 off eight overs. Damian Rapisarda backed up well, taking two for 54.
In reply, the group were all out for 178 in 43.1 overs. A classy 85 off 80 balls from Aditya Mavuru was the highlight. James Leary chipped in with 24. Travis Hayes did the damage for the visitors with three for 32.
Plenty to take out of this one.
Credit to our opponents, and well played.
