Our Sydney 5th came unstuck as they couldn't get past Manly Warringah 5th in a tough outing.
Our innings: 10/122 and 4/49. Manly Warringah 5th's: 6/368. Krish Chhatre finished 48 not out off 68 balls. Credit to Zachary Buchanan, who took three for 21 for our opponents.
Avijay Maharaj was the pick of the bowlers, taking two for 56 off fifteen overs. A century to Alfie Gatehouse for the visitors: 202 not out. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Darcy Horstead, who made 56.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
We'll go again.
