Despite some good moments, our Sydney CC were bested by Blacktown by six wickets at Rod Yendle Oval.
After batting first, we finished on 85 from 28.5 overs. Leading the way was Arjun Bakal with 43 off 86 balls. Mehrub Jan Chowdhury did the damage for Blacktown with four for 13. Noah Smith added three for 8 for our opponents.
The hosts reached the target at 4/87 in 13.4 overs. Credit to Aryan Kumar, who made 37 for our opponents. With the ball, Riley Grant did the damage, claiming two for 20 off four overs.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. That's six losses in a row, but the group will keep working hard.
On to the next one.
