It was a day to forget for our Sydney Men's Kingsgrove Sports T20, who fell short against Campbelltown Camden at Coogee Oval on Sunday.
Batting first, we posted 5/189 from 20 overs. Connor Carroll made a cracking 68 off 32 balls, a well-made fifty. Zeeshaan Ahmed's 58 off 39 balls was a half-century to remember.
In reply, Campbelltown Camden passed our total, finishing on 2/190 in 19.2 overs. Bailey Abela passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 92 not out. The hosts' best was a half-century from Anthony Mosca, who made 77.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Credit to our opponents, and well played.
