On Saturday, our Sydney Men's Kingsgrove Sports T20 couldn't get past Fairfield-Liverpool in a tough outing.
Fairfield-Liverpool set us 203 to win, finishing on 5/202 from 20 overs. Luke Ohrynowsky posted 79 not out for the visitors, a polished fifty. With the ball, Aryan Malik did the damage, claiming two for 33 off four overs.
In reply, we finished on 6/176 from 20 overs. Zeeshaan Ahmed's 63 off 37 balls was a half-century to remember. Solid support came from William Fort, who made 34.
Plenty to take out of this one. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around.
Chins up, everyone.
