Our Sydney Poidevin-Gray Shield were in fine form and won against Campbelltown Camden in the T20 competition.
Campbelltown Camden batted first and made 10/244 from 49.3 overs. Our opponents' Shaun Smith made a quality 107. Bailey Abela added a handy 35 for the hosts. With the ball, Joel Wright did the damage, claiming four for 34 off 6.3 overs. Vibhu-Sadayappan KARTHIKEYAN finished with two for 43.
In reply, the group reached the target at 5/246 in 48.2 overs. Take a bow, Hayden Forner: a brilliant 100 not out off 110 balls with ten fours and one six. Vansh Bhatia contributed 39 off 62 balls.
The work with the ball set up the win. A first win of the season, and hopefully the first of many. Well played, all.
