It was a good day out for our Sydney Poidevin-Gray Shield, who got the better of Fairfield-Liverpool to collect a well-earned victory.
We ended on 8/208 and Fairfield-Liverpool on 10/200. Luke Meek passed fifty for the hosts, finishing with 57. Our opponents also got 47 from Dhanvi Vemulapalli. With the ball, Vansh Bhatia did the damage, claiming three for 24 off 4.3 overs. Hats off to Vibhu-Sadayappan KARTHIKEYAN for a maiden in a T20 game.
Hayden Forner posted a half-century, making 67 off 92 balls with five fours. Bhatia's 60 off 86 balls was a half-century to remember. Coby Holland claimed three for 33 for the hosts.
A well-deserved victory for the group. That's back-to-back wins for the side.
A superb effort from the team.
