It was a day to regroup for our Sydney Poidevin-Gray Shield, who were downed by Randwick Petersham in the T20 competition.
We finished on 6/122, with Randwick Petersham on 9/123. Lachlan Williams batted well for the hosts, making 43 off 46 balls. Charlie Howard returned figures of three for 26 off four overs. Joel Wright claimed two for 27 as well. Hats off to Hunter Hall for a maiden in a T20 game.
The top score came from Hall, who made 44 off 49 balls. Luke Callanan was the pick of our opponents' bowlers with three for 26.
Credit to the hosts, who played well. The team will be keen to turn things around after two straight losses. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
