There was no joy for our Sydney W1, who had to give best to Gordon W1.
Scores: Sydney W1 10/131, Gordon W1 6/133. Olivia Maxwell batted well for 41 off 88 balls. Olivia Callaghan took a five-wicket haul for our opponents, finishing with five for 26.
The hosts' best was a half-century from Callaghan, who made 62 not out. Samira Dimeglio starred with the ball, taking two for 15.
Plenty to take out of this one. On to the next one.
