It was a day to regroup for our Sydney W2, who went under to Greater Hunter Coast W2.
Greater Hunter Coast W2 set the target, making 10/259 from 49.1 overs. Credit to Sophie McCrae, who made a half-century (62) for the hosts. Mia Gentle made 47 for our opponents. Holly Toms was the pick of our bowlers with three for 50.
In reply, we finished on 132 from 42.1 overs. Daisy Webster passed fifty on the way to 58 off 111 balls with six fours. Georgie Leonard played a handy knock of 35. Felicity Wharton bowled well for the hosts, taking three for 26. Elissa Andrews weighed in with three for 32 for our opponents.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. Well played to the hosts.
