In NSW Premier Cricket (Women's), our Sydney W2 came off second best against Parramatta W2 on a frustrating day.
First up, we made 10/146 from 49 overs. Aimee Longhurst made a valuable 28 off 44 balls. Zahra de Wit made 20 off 52 balls.
Parramatta W2 reached the target at 10/156 in 47.3 overs. Credit to Jaaniya Shah, who made a half-century (54) for our opponents. The hosts also got 33 from Kelsey Miller. Georgie Leonard bowled beautifully to finish with three for 20. There were also wickets for Sophie Busch (three for 23).
There were some quality individual efforts to build on.
We'll go again.
