It was one to learn from for our Sydney W3, who came off second best against Parramatta W3 in a tough outing.
After batting first, we finished on 10/139 from 38 overs. Kylie Hocknell's 33 off 47 balls was the highlight with the bat. There were also handy runs from Melissa Winkler (31). Parramatta W3's Fiona Ankitkumar Patel was the standout with the ball, taking five for 23.
Our opponents knocked off the runs, finishing on 4/140 in 27.1 overs. Nikitha Jagadeesh was the main threat for the hosts, making 43.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. It's two defeats on the trot, and the side will be eager to bounce back.
