It was a tough day out for our Sydney W3, who were bettered by Parramatta W3 in NSW Premier Cricket (Women's).
After batting first, we finished on 8/104 from 40 overs. Kylie Hocknell batted well for 20 off 21 balls with three fours. Melissa Winkler also got among the runs with 20 off 73 balls. Credit to Sejal Laasya Peripi, who took three for 19 for Parramatta W3.
The hosts knocked off the runs, finishing on 1/105 in 14.4 overs. Aarini Mazumdar posted 50 for our opponents, a polished fifty.
The hosts were too strong this time around. The team will be keen to turn things around after three straight losses.
