There was no joy for our Sydney W3, who came off second best against St George-Sutherland W3 in one to put behind us.
St George-Sutherland W3 batted first and put 8/206 on the board from 40 overs. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Samantha Dillon, who made 51. Tanisha Narayan claimed a brilliant five-wicket haul, finishing with five for 46.
In reply, we finished on 5/177 from 40 overs. Anique Michel led the way with 43 with seven fours. Kaisha Kapadia contributed 24.
There were some quality individual efforts to build on. The team will be keen to turn things around after three straight losses. On to the next one.
