Despite some good moments, our Sydney W3 were unable to get the better of St George-Sutherland W3 on a day that didn't go our way.
Batting first, we posted 9/56 from 20 overs. Kaisha Kapadia's 24 off 41 balls was the highlight with the bat.
St George-Sutherland W3 reached the target at 4/59 in 16 overs. Samantha Dillon batted well for the hosts, making 30 off 30 balls. With the ball, Anique Michel did the damage, claiming four for 28 off four overs.
Credit to our opponents, who played well.
We'll go again.
