There was no joy for our Sydney W3, who had to give best to UTS North Sydney W3 in a tough outing.
UTS North Sydney W3 finished on 10/165, and we finished on 163. Kylie Hocknell posted a half-century, making 57 off 53 balls with eleven fours. Melissa Winkler also got among the runs with 28 off 49 balls. Emma Leahy bowled well for our opponents, taking three for 15.
Credit to Anushka Dongre, who made a half-century (55) for the visitors. Sophie Busch starred with the ball, taking three for 27. Darien Dubb-Lynch weighed in with two for 21 off seven overs.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
