There was plenty to celebrate as our Sydney Women's Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup saw off Campbelltown Camden in a pleasing performance.
Campbelltown Camden set the target, making 6/119 from 20 overs. Callee Black top-scored for the visitors with 49. With the ball, Emma Hughes did the damage, claiming two for 3 off two overs. Kira Churchland also took two for 16.
In reply, the girls reached the target at 3/123 in 19 overs. The top score came from Churchland, who made 40 off 37 balls. There were also handy runs from Emily Powell (30).
A brilliant result for the team. We're currently sixth on the ladder. That's three wins on the trot for the side.
Parramatta are next on the fixture list, next Sunday.
