Our Sydney Women's Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup were second best against Manly Warringah in one to put behind us.
The side batted first and reached 3/143 from 20 overs. Olivia Maxwell's 80 not out off 61 balls was a half-century to remember. Solid support came from Kira Churchland, who made 29.
Manly Warringah reached the target at 2/144 in 19.1 overs. Fifty for Amy Hunter, who made 84 not out for the hosts. Shivani Mehta helped our opponents with 44.
A tough day at the office, but one to learn from. Thanks to the hosts for the contest.
