It was a tough day out for our Sydney 5th, who were bested by Western Suburbs 5th in NSW Premier Cricket (Men's).
The scorecard reads Sydney 5th 144, Western Suburbs 5th 6/151. Nathan Breen was the pick of our batters with 36 off 23 balls. Thomas Wood claimed three for 28 for our opponents.
Fifty for Aaron Lewis, who made 71 for the hosts. Shaurya Bhardwaj was the pick of the bowlers, taking three for 4 off two overs.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
That's two losses in a row, but the group will keep working hard. The side will be keen to bounce back.
