Playing at home, our Sydney 1st went down against Penrith 1st at Drummoyne Oval.
Scores: Sydney 1st 247, Penrith 1st 3/251. Zeeshaan Ahmed's 83 off 72 balls was a half-century to remember. Benjamin Roughan made 49 off 48 balls. Liam Doddrell was the pick of the visitors' bowlers with four for 47.
Jordan Watson posted a brilliant hundred for our opponents, finishing on 108 not out.
Plenty to take out of this one.
The results haven't gone our way lately, but the team will keep at it. Chins up, everyone.
