Batting first, we posted 7/194 from 50 overs. Fifty for Emily Powell, who finished with 72 off 110 balls. Kira Churchland posted a half-century, making 52 off 72 balls with two fours.
Sydney University W1 knocked off the runs, finishing on 8/195 in 49.1 overs. Frankie Nicklin posted 67 for our opponents, a polished fifty. Erica James contributed 47 for the hosts. Jahanara Alam was the pick of our bowlers with two for 14. Maitlan Brown chipped in with two for 22.
Credit to our opponents, who played well.
