Playing at home, our Sydney Women's Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup were too good for Penrith by six wickets at Hurstville Oval.
Penrith's innings closed at 3/94 from 20 overs. Nikhar Doshi finished unbeaten on 40 for our opponents.
In reply, the team reached the target at 4/97 in 14.1 overs. Emily Powell played a polished hand of 44 off 40 balls. There were also handy runs from Maitlan Brown (27). Aimee Ravot returned three for 18 for the visitors.
The first win of the season is in the bank.
A terrific effort from the girls.
