On Saturday, our Sydney 3rd were bettered by Northern District 3rd on a day that didn't go our way.
After batting first, we finished on 7/278 from 50 overs. Aditya Thakare posted a fine hundred, making 109 off 137 balls. Fifty for Rajeev Navaratnam, who finished with 61 off 84 balls. Oscar Kirk finished 39 not out off 15 balls. Jayden Camp was the main threat for Northern District 3rd, taking three for 66.
Our opponents knocked off the runs, finishing on 3/279 in 43.1 overs. The hosts' Jayden Camp made a quality 148 not out. Carter Margetson led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 70.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. The team will be keen to turn things around after four straight losses. Congratulations to our opponents on the win.
