Our Sydney 5th were in fine form and took care of Blacktown 5th thanks to Mitchell Harrison's 63.
Our bowlers restricted Blacktown 5th to 175 from 48.5 overs. Jacinth Gutla was the main threat for the hosts, making 38. Cody Peters was the pick of the bowlers, taking three for 15 off six overs. Vincent Gardiner also took two for 29.
In reply, the side reached the target at 6/176 in 47.5 overs. A classy 63 off 119 balls from Mitchell Harrison was the highlight. Patrick Kosmas passed fifty on the way to 50 not out off 61 balls with two fours and two sixes. Siddharth Siby Babu also got among the runs with 43 off 83 balls.
It was an excellent all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. Onwards and upwards.
