Saturday belonged to our Sydney 4th, who got up against Manly Warringah 4th to collect a well-earned win.
Over the course of the match we totalled 204 and 1/55, and Manly Warringah 4th 10/198. Fifty for Nathan Breen, who finished with 60 not out off 104 balls. Solid support came from Cadell Birch, who made 42. Our opponents' best with the ball was Michael Counsell (four for 55).
Alex Burkhart claimed a brilliant six-wicket haul, finishing with six for 63. Callum McCall bowled superbly for two for 28. Jayden Kennedy made a good 53 for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century.
Congratulations to the team on a great result.
