At Bensons Lane - Oval 2, our Sydney Men's Kingsgrove Sports T20 couldn't get past St George despite Connor Carroll's 56.
The boys batted first and reached 7/142 from 20 overs. Fifty for Connor Carroll, who finished with 56 off 28 balls. Solid support came from Chaitnya Sharma, who made 31.
In reply, St George passed our total, finishing on 0/144 in 12.1 overs. Credit to Sam Heazlett, who made a half-century (92) for the hosts. For our opponents, Luke Bartier was unbeaten on 49.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
The side will be keen to bounce back.
