It just wasn't our day: our Sydney CC were unable to get the better of Penrith CC on a frustrating day.
Penrith CC set the target, making 4/317 from 50 overs. Credit to Aarush Thakur, who made a century (118) for our opponents. Fifty for Ryan Burfitt, who made 83 for the hosts.
Our chase ended at 192 from 42.3 overs. Veer Anand brought up a good half-century, finishing with 78 off 98 balls. Suhas Abeysinghe provided good support with 38. Aaryan Dasari returned three for 37 for our opponents.
Plenty to take out of this one. Chins up, everyone.
