At Bensons Lane - Oval 1 (Owen Earle Oval), our Sydney Men's Kingsgrove Sports T20 chalked up a victory over Hawkesbury away from home.
Hawkesbury's innings closed at 8/119 from 20 overs. The best of our opponents' batters was Dale McKay with 29. With the ball, Charlie Howard did the damage, claiming four for 22 off four overs.
In reply, the boys reached the target at 1/123 in 14.5 overs. A classy 56 not out off 39 balls from Zeeshaan Ahmed was the highlight. Solid support came from Nathan Doyle, who made 38.
A well-deserved win for the team. Great work, everyone.
