Sunday didn't go our way, as our Sydney Women's Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup were bested by Northern District by six wickets.
We batted first and put 8/134 on the board from 20 overs. Kira Churchland's 31 off 28 balls was the highlight with the bat. Sophie Morris was the main threat for Northern District, taking three for 17.
In reply, the hosts passed our total, finishing on 4/136 in 17.5 overs. Caoimhe Bray was the top scorer for our opponents with 46. Holly Toms chipped in with 36 for the hosts.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. On to the next one.
