It was one to learn from for our Sydney 4th, who went down against Sutherland 4th on Saturday.
The scorecard reads Sydney 4th 105, Sutherland 4th 9/110. Aidan Rider batted well for the visitors, making 38 off 31 balls. Jasper Scott was the pick of our bowlers with four for 20. Shaurya Bhardwaj chipped in with three for 14.
The top score came from Dylan Powell, who made 49 off 46 balls. Ryan Lynch made 20 off 22 balls. Our opponents' best with the ball was Krishna Karki (three for 10). Brady Philipson added three for 19 for the visitors.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. It's two defeats on the trot, and the team will be eager to bounce back. Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
